Pompelou was founded by illustrator and furniture designer Anna Goude. During her maternity leave, she found inspiration in creating children's illustrations—a project that naturally evolved into her first collection: At the Circus.

The name Pompelou embodies playfulness, warmth, and joy. Each design and home accessory is created to spark happiness and inspire both young and old. At Pompelou, the line between childhood wonder and grown-up living is blurred, with every piece adding a playful touch and a splash of color to any home.

OUR BACKGROUND

Anna comes from a strong foundation in furniture design, having trained at the prestigious Carl Malmsten School of Furniture and Design in Stockholm. She has also studied furniture-making and traditional craftsmanship, which, combined with her lifelong passion for illustration and art, forms the heart of Pompelou. This unique blend of design expertise and creative expression gives the brand its distinctive character and playful spirit.
